A recent Capgemini research study using input from leading multinational companies has enabled us to develop a systematic decision-support model that drives effective sourcing decisions.
In this model we have identified the three key dimensions of choice and put them
in a ‘global sourcing cube’ to help you visualize them. The three dimensions are:
ownership (in-house or outsourced); location (onshore or offshore); and level
of management attention (light or tight management). By using these dimensions
a number of different sourcing modes can be defined.

The model as a tool is operated by answering 30 key questions covering the environmental
characteristics that will have an impact on your attitude to sourcing. And by
answering these questions executives can get a good idea about the best approach
to take to their specific sourcing objectives.
We are officially launching this intuitive tool in the Netherlands and, as such, would like to offer you a free demonstration in a 2-hour workshop. The workshop will be defined and designed according to your specific needs and will incorporate guidance on the effective use of the model and tool, while drawing on our sourcing strategy knowledge and skills.
If you are interested in this free-of-charge 2-hour workshop please make an appointment with one of our consultants and we will arrange to visit you in your office.
We are looking forward to discussing the model and tool in your customized workshop.
