Capgemini completes sale of North American Healthcare Consulting Practice
Capgemini, one of the world’s leaders in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced the closing of the transaction to sell its Healthcare Project and Consulting practice in the US and Canada to Accenture for $175 million in cash which was first announced on 20 April of this year.

Capgemini retains its outsourcing contracts with Healthcare clients in the US, as well as public sector health system integration and consulting capabilities in the US and Canada, which are both global strategic focus areas for the Group.
The North American program to transform Capgemini’s consulting and system integration business to return the region to profitable growth by 2006 is well underway, and should demonstrate that Capgemini is on the move once again across Europe and North America.
