Capgemini’s Customer Value Analytics team work with major CP & retail companies worldwide to deliver value in different phases of the customer journey or lifecycle: e.g to acquire new customers by implementing innovative customer sourcing/profiling models. Grow share of wallet by increasing profitability of the existing customer base by building cross sell, up sell or next best action models. And retain customers by identifying churn drivers and building churn propensity models We define Customer Value Analytics as the interplay of data, technology, statistics and business processes to make a decisive impact on the customer journey on order to deliver customer value. This allows Retail and CP companies to take advantage of all channels for both higher customer acquisition and satisfaction, in turn creating tangible financial results such as increasing Sales Revenues, Decreasing Costs to Serve and Improving Working Capital.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of analytics experience in the Customer and Marketing Analytics domain with knowledge of relevant tools.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in utilizing statistical tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, SQL) in the Customer and Marketing Analytics domain
  • Hands on experience delivering insights-as-a service with Data Ventures Category Effectiveness and Efficiency Suites is a plus.
  • An MBA from a reputed institute or an Engineer with exceptional work experience/Masters in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research)
  • Strong experience in CPRD Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain analytics including but not limited to social media, digital and brick& mortar analytics, segmentation, demand forecasting, assortment optimization, pricing, promotion optimization etc.
  • Exposure in working directly with clients to conceptualize, design and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in both complexity and scope
  • Excellent communications skills with respect to translating business needs into a mathematical/data analysis approach and translating analysis results back into business terms.
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate highly complex findings that focus on the critical issues and provide actionable opportunities. Demonstrated outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross cultural environment
  • Proven capability to lead team members, including personal development, training and work direction
  • Prior Consulting experience/ Exp. in an Analytics Solution role/ Exp. In Customer Facing projects
  • Experience delivering insights as-a-service in a global team structure across NA, Europe and Asia is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Business & Operations Analysts to deliver Customer Value Analytics and Demand Driven Insights to Consumer Products and Retail (CP&R) companies.
  • Be an active key member of a global team of experts on Customer Value Analytics in CP&R
  • Ability to understand business needs and apply analytical concepts to provide business solutions.
  • Be pro-active in pre sales jointly with account teams to sell new Customer Value Analytics projects in CP&R in the Netherlands
  • Be part of international ‘bid’ teams winning new business in other European countries
  • Grow and manage projects that provide Customer & Marketing analytics support to specific clients through analytical techniques.
  • Oversee and lead by example for execution and delivery of key project milestones and deliverables.
  • Accountable for clear requirements documentation, analysis/development plans, project consulting and troubleshooting, the on time delivery of projects, timely communication to clients, and quality of project deliverables.
  • Project management tasks include (but are not limited to): defining project scope, assisting with requirements collection, providing analysis/development plans, working closely with the client both onshore and offshore during execution of project, and ensuring on-time delivery of and quality of projects.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication between the client and the Capgemini team on-site and off-shore regarding project scope, timelines, issue resolution, and on-going insights services.
  • Manage the progress and prioritization of multiple projects
