Salesforce Project Manager

Job Description
 
To further expand our Salesforce team in the European region and to support our clients in the development and implementation of Salesforce transformation projects, we are looking for a Salesforce Project Manager
 
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day client senior stakeholder interaction, set and manage client expectations and develop lasting relationships
  • Facilitate and/or lead (with customer project manager) regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with clients, including C-level, to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Be enthusiastic, professional, resilient and confident while maintaining a focus on Customer Success
  • Own the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, normally within an Agile delivery framework.
  • Monitor and manage program financials, scope, risks, issues and schedule to ensure project stays on track and drive implementations of high-quality Salesforce solutions
  • Ensure the generation and timely distribution of status reports, time usage reports, and expense reports
  • Assist team members in the delivery of client presentations during requirements, design, build and user acceptance testing sessions. Review deliverables prepared by the team before sharing with the client
  • Provides mentoring, guidance and general care and feeding to program team members, including those based at client sites and offshore team members
 
 
Requirements
 
Experience & Skills:
  • 5+ year of experience in the IT industry, with at least 3 years of experience in performing project management roles, with a minimum of one large project lifecycle with Salesforce.
  • 5+ years project management experience with packaged software or custom development implementations.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation /written)
  • Experience in large professional services and consulting organizations
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery
  • Proven ability to manage engagements greater than $1M
  • Estimation/sizing, SOW/Change Order contracting experience preferred
  • Experience working with global development teams preferred
  • Experience in the financial services (banking and insurance) industries would be an advantage
  • Certifications in Project Management, Delivery Processes (SCRUM, PMP, ITIL) preferred
  • Ability to travel within your home country to client sites and across Europe occasionally is required. Seeing opportunity to travel as a positive attraction of the role would be an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken business English is required. Fluency in another major European language (Dutch, French, Spanish) is strongly preferred
  • Salesforce certification would be an advantage
